Although it doesn't feel like it outside, we're almost at springtime! Over here, we are so excited about starting spring engagement sessions! This one is from last summer, but the colours and tones feel perfectly peachy for spring! Bring on the nice weather, and the fresh newly engaged faces!
The word sunshine might not be bright enough to describe Melissa's personality and the size of the smiles between these two! They just radiate love! They get one another and are happy to simply be in each other's company. We met at Riverbend Inn last fall after going back and forth a few times with suggestions of wineries and pretty spots in Niagara on the Lake that were beautiful in and of their own right. We didn't want it to be too winery focused and wanted a beautiful property with some pretty architecture as well. Needless to say this was the perfect spot! I would shoot here again any day and the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. Their wedding is in just a handful of days from now and I am so excited to see their plans come to light. It's going to be beautiful!
It's about a month until these two tie the knot and what better way to celebrate than to reminisce on their engagement session last fall. These 2 had me in stitches the whole day as they told me stories and we conversed about our common love of football - although not the same team sadly! We are so looking forward to he end of next month!
These two love so easily, completely and openly. There is no mistaking how much they absolutely adore each other. Their smiles radiate love and not just to each other, but to everyone around them. In fact, I was in love with them at first sight! In them, I have met two lovely souls that I just know I will be friends with for life.
Flashback to early spring when we did Mark and Albina's engagement photos - the perfect location, considering Mark proposed on a trip to Greece - swoon, how romantic!
Their story is a beautiful one and their engagement sweeter than pie! They were running a race on a rainy fall day. During a warm up lap, Evelyn decked out in a garbage bag (to keep in the warmth) with Geordie running along side her, stops to "tie his shoe". Looking down at him, Evelyn sees the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with and he asks her to marry him. I can't wait to see them make it official tomorrow when these 2 sweet souls get married.
